Shredry Day
As a Marketing Director, my contributions to events have been instrumental in building community engagement and expanding our database through innovative events. A prime example of this is our "Shredry Day" events. These events are designed to offer a valuable service to the community while simultaneously enhancing our outreach efforts.
Concept and Execution: We organize events where we bring in a shredding truck to help the community securely shred their documents for free. Additionally, we give away free products, making the events attractive and beneficial for attendees.
Community Engagement: Two of these events were part of fundraisers for an arts organization at a local school in Washington Heights (PS 187), and the other took place during the summer street fair events on 2nd Ave in the Upper East Side. These events not only support community causes but also increase our visibility and goodwill within the neighborhood.
Data Collection and Marketing Funnel: During these events, we capture attendees' emails and begin incorporating them into our marketing funnel. This has resulted in gaining hundreds of new contacts, which we nurture through targeted marketing strategies to convert them into clients.
Branding and Recognition: We branded these events as "Shredry Day" to align with our team name, The Edry Team, and the shredding service provided. This simple yet effective branding strategy has made the events memorable and easily recognizable.
Through these events, we have successfully combined community service with strategic marketing, showcasing our ability to innovate and engage with our target audience effectively.
